Vote Monitor

Every year, Swiss citizens vote on an average of ten national proposals. The Vote Monitor has systematically investigated reporting in the run-up to national votes since 2013. The results show how these referendums differ when it comes to how much media attention they receive, what the tone towards the votes are and which actors are most visible in media coverage. The Vote Monitor is made available for download for free on the fög website shortly before each vote.
